Hospitality is a subject that teaches students the importance of food safety, and gives students cooking skills that will help them in the future. They also provide a Customer Service course and a Barista course that would help make your CV look better and show that you have experience in the workforce. The teachers also let you practise your Barista skills at morning tea, lunch time and even before or after school so that you are confident enough to apply for any jobs relating to the course. As for cooking, students are scheduled to cook once every week, and later on in the year, they can provide the teacher with their own recipe for the cooking lesson in that week. There will be a Street Market standard where the students study different types of food from all over the world and see what they can do to make it better. All theory tests are open book so you wouldn't have to stress about remembering any information which is a BONUS!
